    Melbourne's Fabulous Flinders Lane

    Image: TFE Hotels

AUSTRALIA: Melbourne is famous for its laneways and street art, its cultural diversity, its coffee and excellent dining scene, and its numerous sporting events. The newly refurbished Adina Apartment Hotel Melbourne on Flinders is a stone’s throw from many of the city’s attractions. We asked the Adina team to come up with the top 5 things they love doing in and around Flinders Street. Here’s what they came up with.

    Melbourne Coffee Culture

A favourite with locals, including Adina staff, the quaint Petit Café does great coffee including cold drip. Its crepes are freshly made on the spot, and the delicious slices are made in-house. Relax and enjoy the vibrant art works that are for sale on the walls.

    Eau de Vie Cocktail Bar

One of Melbourne’s hidden secrets, this speakeasy-style cocktail bar is tucked away in a lane within walking distance of Adina Melbourne Flinders. The dimly lit, jazz-infused bar looks straight out of 1920’s prohibition America. It even has a hidden lounge behind a bookcase!

    ACDC & Hosier Lanes

To get a real feel for the city’s vibe, go for a wander in ACDC Lane and Hosier Lane. Put you ear pods in and blast some Acca Dacca while you admire the artwork in ACDC Lane, named – as you might have guessed - as a tribute to rock band AC/DC. Also famous for its street art is Hosier Lane, where you’ll find some excellent restaurants and bars.

    ACMI at Federation Square

Cool off at ACMI, an interactive museum of screen culture where film, TV and videogame buffs will feel right at home. The Adina team recommend catching one of the fascinating temporary exhibitions or you can journey through The Story of the Moving Image, ACMI’s centrepiece exhibition.

    MCG & Olympic Park

Just a short stroll from Adina Melbourne Flinders, the MCG (Melbourne Cricket Ground) and a host of venues within Olympic Park offer a jam-packed calendar of concerts and sporting matches. The hotel is the choice of accommodation for anyone attending these events or wanting to explore and learn the history on an MCG guided tour.

With one-, two- and three-bedroom apartments, as well as kitchen and laundry facilities, Adina Melbourne Flinders is both family-friendly and business-friendly. In-room childcare, limo/town car service, library, in-room massages and concierge services, all add up to making it the perfect location to enjoy Melbourne’s hidden gems.

Stay in a Converted Warehouse on Flinders

Does it get any more Melbourne than staying in a converted warehouse in an iconic laneway? The perennially popular Adina Apartment Hotel Melbourne on Flinders - and its six adjoining warehouse-style apartments on Malthouse Lane - are sporting a fresh look that has been unveiled just in time for The Australian Open and the bustling 2023 Victorian events season.

With a brief to showcase the vibrant personality of inner-city Melbourne – from art, fashion, colour, and our infamous gardens – the interior design team set out to create little eclectic pockets of differentiation. Central to the design is the transformation of the two and three-bedroom Penthouses and Suites and the warehouse-style accommodation. All 63-key hotel’s apartments are incredibly spacious and range from 75sqm for a one-bedroom up to 150sqm for the three-bedroom penthouse, making them excellent for families or groups of friends.

But it’s not just the interior design that is turning heads, it’s also the hotel’s showstopping views, and its proximity to Federation Square, the top end of Flinders Lane with its bustling restaurant and bar scene, and all the major attractions.
