General information on COVID-19 infection in Berlin

From 11th June 2021 we are happy to welcome tourist guests again.

Check-in requirements

  • • On arrival you do have to present a negative COVID-19 test or the confirmation of fully vaccinated or recovered
  • • Guests must show a negative test to reception every 72 hours when staying longer than 3 nights
  • • Rules on distancing, hygienic regulations and wearing an FFP2 mask are still valid
  • • All guests over the age of 15 must wear an FFP2 mask in the entire hotel, children up to 14 years of age need to wear a medical mask and children under six years of age do not have to wear a mask

Entry from a risk area / high incidence area / virus variant area

  • • Every guest entering from a risk area / high incidence area / virus variant area must register in advance at https://www.einreiseanmeldung.de/
  • • All travellers from high incidence areas have to go into quarantine for 10 days and have the opportunity to test themselves free earliest on the 5th day after the first test if not vaccinated or recovered
  • • All travellers from virus variant areas are obliged to be tested for COVID-19 no more than 24 hours (PCR-test: 72 hours) before or immediately after entering into Germany and have to quarantine for 14 days. Another test after entering Germany is not permitted
  • • You have to provide your personal data on arrival for general contact tracking in case of infection
  • • The wellness areas will be closed until further notice

General information on COVID-19 infection in Frankfurt

The incidence in Frankfurt must be stable below 100 for 7 days. To check the most up-to-date information please refer to the following link:

Check-in requirements

  • • On arrival, you must present a negative corona test (PCR or rapid antigen test not older than 24 hours, carried out at the doctor, in the test center or in the pharmacy) OR proof of your complete vaccination (the 2nd vaccination must be 14 days ago) OR proof of your Corona recovery (at least 28 days ago and no more than 6 months old)
  • • For stays of 7 or more nights, the test must be repeated every 48 hours. You can find the corresponding test options here
  • • If the incidence is over 100 on 3 consecutive days, you will unfortunately have to break off your stay.
  • • Please note that only guests from one household or a maximum of 5 people from 2 households are allowed per room (exception: vaccinated and convalescent)
  • • All guests over the age of 15 must wear an FFP2 or medical mask in the entire hotel area

Arriving from abroad

  • • Every person entering from a risk area / high incidence area / virus variant area must register in advance at www.einreiseanmeldung.de
  • • There is no quarantine requirement for people entering from a risk area with a negative test
  • • For travellers from high-incidence areas, a quarantine period of 10 days applies; However, travellers from a high incidence area have the opportunity to test themselves freely on the 5th day after entry at the earliest.
  • • For travellers from a virus variant area, a quarantine period of 14 days applies.
  • • All travellers from virus variant areas are obliged to be tested for COVID-19 no more than 48 hours before or immediately after entering Germany.
  • • If you cannot present a negative medical certificate at check-in, you are obliged to self-isolate (quarantine)

The following requirement applies to those who have been completely vaccinated and those who have recovered:

  • • For entries from risk-free areas, high-risk areas and high-incidence areas, the quarantine and test obligation does not apply.
  • • When entering from virus variant areas, there is a 14-day quarantine obligation.

Our fitness and pool area is still closed due to the epidemic situation, however we are always working to be able to offer you the complete wellness program again as soon as possible.

Check-in requirements

  • • On arrival, you must present a negative COVID test (PCR or rapid antigen test not older than 72 hours, carried out at the doctor, in the test center or in the pharmacy) OR proof of your full vaccination OR proof of your Corona recovery.
  • • If you are staying for a longer period of time, the test must be repeated every 72 hours. You can find the corresponding test options here
  • • All guests over 7 years of age must wear a mask (either FFP2 or surgical mask) in the entire hotel area.
  • • If you cannot present a negative medical certificate at check-in, you are obliged to self-isolate (quarantine).
  • • You can visit our fitness area again from 01.06.2021, the pool is currently not available.

Entry from a risk area / high incidence area / virus variant area

  • • Every guest entering from a risk area / high incidence area / virus variant area must register in advance www.einreiseanmeldung.de
  • • A quarantine period of 10 days applies to all people entering from high-risk and high-incidence areas. A quarantine period of 14 days applies to those entering from a virus variant area.
  • • All travellers from risk areas / high incidence areas / virus variant areas are obliged to be tested for Covid-19 no more than 48 hours before or immediately after entering Germany. With a negative test, travellers from a risk area do not have to quarantine.
  • • Travelers from a high incidence area have the opportunity to test themselves freely on the 5th day after entry at the earliest.

Check-in requirements

  • • As a hotel guest you do not have to present a negative test, however the AHA rules apply (distance, hygiene, respiratory mask)
  • • Wearing a medical mask is mandatory for all guests over 6 years of age in the entire hotel area.

Entry from a risk area/high incidence area/viral variant area.

  • • Anyone entering from a risk area/high incidence area/viral variant area must register in advance at www.einreiseanmeldung.de
  • • After entry from a risk or high incidence area, a 10-day quarantine period is generally required.
  • • Those entering from a risk area may shorten the quarantine by providing negative test evidence.
  • • Visitors from a high incidence area can be cleared with a second test 5 days after entry at the earliest.
  • • A 14-day quarantine requirement applies to entrants from virus-variant areas and cannot be shortened.

Since August 20th, 2021, there are new Coronavirus Protection Ordinance for North Rhine-Westphalia (for business and leisure travellers):

The following “3G” rules apply for all travellers if the incidence is above 35:

  • • Everyone that is not fully vaccinated or recovered is obliged to submit a negative test result (PCR or rapid test not older than 48 hours).
  • • Children and teenagers that are still in compulsory school attendance and are therefore regularly tested are excluded from the rule above. Please show us a respective student ID upon check-in.
  • • Children that are not yet in school are also excluded from the rule above.

Please note, that all guests who are not fully vaccinated or recovered and stay longer than 4 nights are obliged to submit another negative test result (PCR or rapid test not older than 48 hours) every 4 days. 

If you require any further information, please do not hesitate to contact us.

  • • On arrival you must present a negative COVID test (PCR tests are valid for 72 hours, antigen tests are valid for 48 hours) OR proof of your vaccination with an EMA approved vaccine. (The first vaccination is valid from the 22nd day after the 1st prick for a maximum of 3 months. The 2nd stitch extends the validity period by a further 6 months). OR proof of your Corona recovery (official separation notice: valid for 6 months OR medical confirmation of an expired molecular-biological proven infection: valid for 6 months)
  • • If you are staying for a longer period of time, the test must be repeated every 72/48 hours (depending on the type of test).
  • • You can find the corresponding test options here:
  • • All guests over the age of 14 must wear an FFP2 mask in the entire hotel area. From the age of 6, mouth and nose protection can be worn instead.
  • • Every person entering Austria (also applies to Austrian citizens and commuters) must fill out a pre-travel clearance form. The document must be presented to the authorities upon request. From 10.6. this completed form is only required for high incidence and virus variant areas.
  • • You can visit our indoor pool and fitness room again.
